It was the perfect summer day to eat outdoors! Typically, these coveted outdoor tables cannot be reserved in advance but with a dog in tow it was a must for our group of 4. I called and spoke with Kathleen and begged for an outdoor table for our group (one wheelchair user and a dog) and she was so nice and kind about it and said that she would try to make it work! (Thanks, Kathleen!) The place was packed and had a nice buzz indoors. It took a few minutes to get our orders but it was understandable. Our table received so many orders that belonged to other tables which just reflects bad communication somewhere along the line. The food was quite good: The Cobb salad, although typical, was delicious! The fried chicken sandwich was crispy without being greasy and was served with sweet potato fries! The appetizer of meatballs had three huge well- seasoned and moist pieces-- enough to fill one up. The pizza (half sausage and half mushroom) was the best thing at the table. The crust was not crispy but the flavor more than made up for it. The staff was attentive, pleasant and helpful. We will be back for sure!
9:30AM breakfast on a Sunday morning. I'm not a brunch girl. I'm a three meals a day thank you very much girl. There were plenty of tables and we picked one outside. For such a warm day, there was a slight breeze that made sitting outside pleasant. I ordered the egg sandwich on the homemade English muffin and a latte. There was the option to get fries on the side, though I went the healthy route and got the salad. Hubby got the hazelnut waffles with Nutella on the side. Our server was very nice, though also a little flighty. One this about this restaurant is that they didn't give us a drink menu. So when I asked for a latte, the server was like, "A latke?! We don't have those." And for the life of me I couldn't figure out who would walk into a restaurant and ask for latkes. Eventually she got that I was looking for an espresso beverage and put our order in. My husband's coffee came out before our meal though my mysterious drink didn't come out until mid meal, and then it wasn't a latte but a cappuccino. Because it was late, the server said she's comp it, so I didn't even mention that it was the incorrect drink. THEN she came over with the latte and said that while her colleagues drink espresso shots, they wouldn't touch this because of the milk. So we got another drink on the house. This was a latte though, so I enjoyed it. I would come back. Food was decent, service was fine. The bakery portion of this restaurant is my favorite though and we picked up a chocolate chunk cookie with rice crispy chunk pieces for our neighbors on our way out the door.
Ate here Saturday evening - 6/22 - with another couple. I have hearing issues, but the booth allowed me to fully participate in the conversations. Food was fresh and well prepared - service (Red) was excellent. Interesting (and refreshing) takes on sangria. We will return.
While out shopping, I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The weather was just right for dining outside, which made the experience even better. The food was good, although it could've used a bit more seasoning. The drinks were cool and hit the spot, but the deviled eggs stole the show for me. The relaxed outdoor setting was a nice touch, and I would definitely come back. The service was okay, nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Overall, a pretty solid dining experience.
Were sat 5-7 min before our reservation. Originally sat at a table, but they were accommodating enough to oblige my request to be moved to a booth. The setting is bright. A lot of people could be sat in the restaurant, but it doesn't get too loud. We went for brunch on Mother's Day, and it wasn't too bad. The americano was good, however, someone in my party got the latte and commented how it could use more sugar I also got a pineapple kick with passion fruit added. They shake the mocktail with jalapeños, which was absolutely delicious. 9/10 We got the warm cinnamon roll to start. 10/10. Perfect softness. Icing wasn't too overwhelming. Flaky, but smooth. The Brussels sprouts had seasoning that was to die for. No notes. 11/10 The crispy strawberry waffles came with crème that was the perfect complement to the syrup and fruit. Pretty hard to mess up waffles, but this menu item has a lot of flavors that go well together. 10/10 The 2 eggs with cheddar were the perfect amount of cheesy. I ate it with the hash browns. 10/10. Was also happy that they had cholula and Tabasco, as I wasn't sure if they would. The bacon was thick in shape, and had a great flavor. Although it was too well done for my preference, it didn't affect the taste. 9/10
Had a really nice time here with family recently. We were celebrating two birthdays and came for an early weekday lunch. The service was attentive and friendly and our orders were placed quickly without us feeling rushed. The chips and guac were delicious - and the portion was huge. The rigatoni was flavorful and the option of sausage on the side made it more unique than I'm used to. The vibe inside the restaurant was energized with lots of light. This seems like a place that is great for groups and celebrations. There was a bakery at the the entrance which included a whole host of cookies for purchase. The cookies themselves were dense (in a good way!) with lots of flavor options to choose from: lemon, ginger, chocolate chip, peanut butter.
Service here was absolutely incredible! We came with a group for Mother's Day breakfast, and were greeted by the most enthusiastic and endearing waitress throughout our visit. I wish I could remember her name but you'd know if she was your server-- she was incredibly sweet and accommodating! Food was very tasty! We had a spread of variety of foods, from tostadas to cinnamon rolls, everything was well prepared! Especially loved the cinnamon roll, so soft and flaky! Not too sweet! My tostadas were perfectly cooked, with a balance of savory flavors. I loved the interior here; as someone who recently moved back to the area from Los Angeles, I feel like they nailed the California inspired decor! Even had fancy paper towels in the bathroom which were a nice touch to the whole elevated vibe! For the holiday, Mom was given a blondie complimentary, which was a nice touch from the restaurant. I will be back here whenever I'm in the area again for sure!
